While remaining flexible enough to respond to any request, our company focuses on 2 main areas:

Logging

Simexco buys standing or roadside timber, both softwood and hardwood, directly from private owners or through Luxembourg forestry experts.

With a view to promoting environmentally-friendly forest management, Simexco has been PEFC-certified since 2008.

Logistics are provided by logging truck.

The timber trade

Firewood (long logs) is delivered by full lorry to wood professionals or retailers.

Biomass is transported by trucks equipped with moving floors or tarpaulins from various regions of France to cogeneration plants. For larger volumes, Simexco loads bulk biomass in ships of several thousand tonnes, as was the case in 2010-2011 in partnership with Dalkia Nord.

Maritime pine bark from the Landes region is delivered to local garden centres.
